Observe that the Lord is not distant but the sense I AM awakening in you. The anointed state is a present tense of consciousness: strength is the very faculty by which you imagine and govern your world. The Psalm places salvation as an inner act: you are saved by returning to the awareness of your own divine kingly nature. The word 'anointed' points to a crowned awareness that rules your inner kingdom; you are not seeking power but remembering it. When you regard the Lord as your strength, you acknowledge that every circumstance bows to your inner decision. The Lord's saving strength is the energy that upholds your choices, stirs your acts, and leads you toward providence. The verse invites you to live from that inner sanctuary, where fear dissolves, and the sense of separation vanishes. In practice, assume the feeling of being already strong, protected, and guided by this inner king; you will observe outward results align with this inner reality.
