Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm presents a decision for inner integrity: reject the pull of evil and move toward pure worship. It ends with a vow to give thanks and proclaim God's wondrous works.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your selection of the 'congregation of evil doers' speaks not of others but of inner states you reject. You are calling yourself back to the I AM, to the consciousness that is unaffected by judgment and fear. Washing the hands in innocency is not washing physical hands but cleansing the mind of guilt, old accusations, and belief in separation. As you compass the altar of the Lord, you draw near to the throne of awareness where God already resides as your very life. To publish with the voice of thanksgiving is to acknowledge inwardly what is already true and to let that gratitude radiate into your world as conditions rearrange themselves to reflect your inner posture. The wondrous works are the natural expressions of a life lived in unity with consciousness itself. Practice: in stillness, assume you are innocent now; revise any memory of wrongdoing as finished; imagine walking to the altar and declaring, 'I am one with God’s works,' and feel gratitude as the present reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling of innocence now; revise any sense of guilt as completed. Then imagine walking to the inner altar of awareness and declare, 'I am one with God's works,' letting gratitude rise as your reality.
