Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the psalms speak to your inner courtroom and your inner I AM. When you claim, 'Judge me, O LORD, for I have walked in mine integrity,' you are not addressing a distant judge; you are aligning with the state of consciousness that already knows true intention. In Neville's sense, God is the I AM you are aware of; your integrity is the stability of your inner sight, and trusting in the LORD is trusting the presence that orders your thoughts. The verse continues: 'Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.' This is inner revision: you welcome inspection by the I AM, you invite the movement of awareness to reveal any thought or feeling out of harmony. Since 'thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth,' you cultivate a discipline of attention—lovingkindness before every perception and truth on which you stand. You are not battling life; you are being recognized by the truth that created you. Your present feeling should declare that the I AM approves your inner posture, and that all your inner movements respond to that light.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already judged by the I AM as upright. Feel the assurance flood your chest and revise any doubt by silently repeating: I am the integrity that judges rightly.
