Inner Integrity Before God
Psalms 26:1-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalmist asks the LORD to judge and test him, asserting his integrity and trust. He resolves to walk in truth, avoid evil company, wash his hands in innocence, and bless the Lord's house.
Neville's Inner Vision
The phrase 'judge me' is the I AM calling the I AM within to shine its light on the inner movements of consciousness. 'Walking in integrity' becomes a steady state of consciousness aligned with truth, and 'trusting in the LORD' is trust in the omnipresent I AM. I choose to see with 'lovingkindness before mine eyes' and therefore refuse to entertain thoughts that deceive me, leaving 'vain persons' and 'dissemblers' behind as irrelevant images in the theater of awareness. To 'wash mine hands in innocency' is to clear my mental air and act from purity, circling the altar of my own awareness with thanksgiving. By affirming that I will 'publish with the voice of thanksgiving' I render divine works into my experienced reality. 'LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house' becomes devotion to the inner sanctuary of awareness where the divine life dwells. 'Redeem me, and be merciful unto me' is the call for grace within consciousness, and standing on 'an even place' is the stable ground of the I AM. As I hold to this inner covenant, I bless the Lord in every gathering of belief.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of one who walks in integrity, trusting the I AM within. Feel the lovingkindness before you and stand on unshakable ground, thanking the divine for the revealed truth.
