'Integrity and uprightness preserve me' becomes the daily refusal to identify with lesser states; it is the disciplined alignment of my thoughts and deeds with the truth I choose. And 'wait on thee' is waiting on the inner source with patience, not passivity. When I dwell in that state, deliverance arrives as a felt shift in being—the sensation that I am rightly preserved by my own higher self. The outer life then aligns with the inner state, revealing a coherence that once seemed distant.
