Eyes Fixed on the I Am
Psalms 25:15-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Psalm centers on fixing one’s eyes toward the LORD, seeking mercy, and asking to be delivered from distress, while confessing sins and trusting integrity to preserve the self. It closes with a plea for redemption from all troubles, anchored in steadfast trust.
Neville's Inner Vision
I do not seek deliverance from a distant God; I turn my attention to the I AM, and in that turning, the net of fear loosens. Mine eyes are toward the LORD—my consciousness is the one that plucks my feet from the net. When I say, 'Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me,' I am simply shifting my inner state toward the awareness that already loves me. The troubles of my heart enlarge in the absence of awareness; when I accept the I AM as my only reality, those troubles shrink, and forgiveness arises as the natural radiance of perception. Look upon my affliction and my pain; forgive all my sins by recognizing them as stories in the waking mind. Consider my enemies, as the doubts that hate me; yet I am kept and delivered by the I AM, not by outward circumstance. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait on the I AM. Redeem my consciousness out of all troubles, and Israel—my inner kingdom—rises free and unashamed.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and feel the I AM dwelling as your present fact. Assume, 'I am delivered now; I am kept and redeemed,' and watch the inner sight rearrange your outer conditions.
