Biblical Context
Psalm 25:12 says that those who fear the LORD will be taught in the path they choose; this teaching comes from an inner reverence, not external signs.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the one who fears the LORD, the I AM within becomes the teacher of the path you are to walk. Fear here is not dread but reverent attention—an inner state of consciousness that acknowledges the divine presence as your own awareness. When you inhabit that state, the inner ‘teacher’ moves your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions toward the road you will choose. The verse invites you to realize the way you shall go is found not by chasing outward signs but by aligning your inner vision with the truth that you already know. Your imagination becomes the map: when you assume the feeling of already knowing the right direction, the world rearranges to reflect that order. The teacher does not demand obedience from afar; it whispers through certainty and clarity, and you naturally choose the path that harmonizes with your true I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume the feeling of the I AM having already chosen the right way. Then revise fear into reverent trust and visualize yourself stepping confidently along that path.
