Biblical Context
Psalm 24:7-10 invites you to open your inner gates so the King of Glory, the LORD of hosts, may come in and reveal the inner sovereignty of God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Scripture becomes a state of consciousness when you listen with the ear of imagination. In Psalm 24 the gates and doors are your mental dispositions; when you acknowledge the King of Glory as the I AM that you are, you shift the interior weather. The LORD strong and mighty is not an external conqueror but the energy of awareness that arises when you stop defining yourself by lack or doubt and begin declaring, I AM the gates through which the glory enters. As you lift the lids of limitation and stand in quiet certainty, the King of Glory comes in, not to threaten but to reign as your present presence. The question 'Who is this King of glory?' becomes you answering, I AM, the LORD of hosts within, the sovereign power you feel and know. Practice this by holding a steady assumption: I AM the King of Glory now, and let the feeling of sovereignty ripple through your chest, your mind, your world. When you return to ordinary perception, carry that same sense of inward reign, and your experiences will reflect the interior crown you have accepted.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and, with a calm breath, assume the position of the king. Affirm mentally, 'I AM the King of Glory entering now,' and feel the gates lift as you sense sovereign presence filling you.
