Inner Kingdom, Divine Rule
Psalms 22:28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The kingdom belongs to the LORD and He governs the nations. Outer events reflect an inner sovereignty operating within you.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, this verse is not about kingdoms out there, but the one within as the LORD—the I AM—reigns. When I say 'the kingdom is the LORD's,' I am naming that the ruler of every scene is the awareness I identify as I. The 'governor among the nations' is the quiet administrator of my inner states: fears, desires, plans, and pains. If I claim sovereignty here, outward events begin to harmonize with that order. My job is to align my inner perception with divine law, not to struggle for control in the outer. The world reflects my inner decree; nothing rules except the I AM that I am. Practice: dwell in the feeling that I am the governor, that the divine mind operates all kingdoms—inner and outer—through me. By imagining the day-to-day order as a natural expression of that rule, I observe providence guiding choices, truth steadying faith, and faithfulness sustaining relationships. If a scene roars with conflict, renew your stance: 'The kingdom belongs to the LORD; the I AM within me governs this situation now.'
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and repeat, 'The kingdom is the LORD's, and I reign within now.' Visualize your inner nation as a well-ordered realm under a wise governor, and feel the outer situation settle to reflect this order.
