2Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

Biblical Context

The king rejoices in the LORD's strength and salvation; God has granted his heart's desires and answered his lips' requests.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the king is not a distant monarch but the ruling I AM within you. The verse proclaims that true power and relief come from the inner strength of God, the awareness that you, as the I AM, stand in the throne-room of consciousness. When you accept that you are already supplied by the Lord of salvation, your heart's desires arise as natural expressions of your state. Rejoicing is not an empty emotion but the vibrational confirmation that your inner state is aligned with the divine will. The 'strength' is your unwavering peace; 'salvation' is the deliverance from lack or fear. The promises that the lips uttered are their own revision of reality, and God withholds nothing from the self that believes. Allow the Selah moment—pause, breathe, and dwell in the feeling of fulfilment as if it is already true. In this light, every external petition becomes a reflection in the mirror of consciousness, answered the moment you assume the version of you that has already received. Your kingly nature rules from within; your world follows.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled as your kingly inner state; dwell in the sense that your heart's desire is already granted and your lips' request is answered.
