Biblical Context

Neville's Inner Vision

This Psalm is not pleading with a distant deity, but inviting you to awaken to the I AM you are. Grant thee according to thine own heart means the outer world bends to the inner weather you prescribe with your awareness. When you assume that your desire is already real, your own counsel is fulfilled, for the mind has voted it done. We will rejoice in thy salvation becomes your inner certainty that you are saved by your own recognition, and the banners you raise are symbols of conquered limits. The LORD fulfil all thy petitions is the evidence that your petitions meet the law of your being because you have accepted them as true. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand translates as: your I AM hears you from the throne of your own consciousness, sending power through the right hand of conviction. Rejoice, for your inner king sits safely on the throne.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Quietly close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and declare, 'I am the I AM; my heart’s desire is now fulfilled.' Then maintain the feeling of relief and victory as if your petition is already granted, and watch for signs in your inner vision.
