Scripture Focus

4Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
Psalms 20:4

Biblical Context

Psalm 20:4 speaks of God granting according to the heart and fulfilling one’s plans; it invites trust that inner desires align with divine provision.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 20:4 invites you to see God’s promise as a reflection of your own inner state. In Neville's sense, 'Grant thee according to thine own heart' means your desires become possibilities only when your awareness is aligned with their truth. The I AM within you is not a distant deity issuing favors; it is your own living consciousness, ever-present, imagining and thus fabricating the world you call real. When you hold the image of your goal as already accomplished, you are revising the script of your life so that it matches your deepest counsel. 'Fulfil all thy counsel' suggests there is a coherent plan voiced by your heart, which divine awareness supports by harmonizing thoughts, feelings, and circumstances. The key is to stop identifying with lack and begin identifying with end-state. As you entertain your wish as true now, the outer events rearrange themselves to echo the inner state. Your fidelity to the end draws the fulfillment to you; God, or the I AM, responds by aligning conditions to your inner conviction.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and silently assume the end: 'I am now the one whose heart's counsel is fulfilled; I live in the I AM that grants and harmonizes all things.' Feel it as present, see one detail after another aligning, and rest in that certainty for a few minutes.
