I Am On The Inner Throne
Psalms 2:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God sits in the heavens and laughs at those who oppose Him; He then speaks in wrath to correct them. In Neville's view, this can be read as the inner mind recognizing the folly of fear-based beliefs.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this psalm, 'God' is not a distant deity but the I AM within you, the awareness that merely is. The heavens laughing is the mind recognizing the folly of resisting the truth of your oneness with the Power that prevails. The 'them' in derision are your own limiting beliefs, your imagined powers in opposition to your true state. When the I AM speaks in wrath, the inner atmosphere shifts; not punishment, but a decisive correction that unsettles and rearranges the inner movements of thought. The moment you recognize that the throne is within you, you need fear no outer circumstance. The outward discord you sense is simply mind clinging to a story of separation. Your task is to rest in the awareness that you are the living I AM, the ruler of your internal kingdom. Let the mockery of the old beliefs fall away as you claim dominion in consciousness, and watch as the inner wind of change clears the air.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume the I AM sits on the throne of your mind and laughs at fear. Revise any opposing belief to 'I am the awareness that governs this kingdom,' and feel it real.
