Biblical Context
Psalm 19:5-6 portrays the sun as a powerful image of universal light, revealing God's order and presence. It notes the sun's path across the heavens makes all things visible, leaving nothing hidden from its heat.
Neville's Inner Vision
View Psalm 19:5-6 as a map of your inner weather. The bridegroom coming out of his chamber is the arising state of awareness you consent to as you close your eyes and say, I am. The strong man running a race is the momentum of belief, the ignition that carries you toward the fulfilled state. The sun’s going forth from the end of heaven to the other end is the limitless circuit of consciousness; there is no corner of your mind that does not come under its heat and light. And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof means when you assume the feel of the wish fulfilled, every hidden fear, doubt, or lack is exposed to the warmth of your awareness and dissolves. This is not about time, but about your current state. Return to the feeling place, dwell there, and let the sun of awareness do the work.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the sun of my life; all is revealed by the heat of my awareness.' Hold that feeling and let it wash over every thought until what you desire stands bathed in light.
