Scripture Focus

46The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
48He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
Psalms 18:46-48

Biblical Context

The passage proclaims that the LORD lives as the speaker's rock and salvation. It describes deliverance from enemies and being raised above opposition.

Neville's Inner Vision

You are told in the living language of Psalms that the I AM—God within—is alive as your rock and salvation. The words awaken your consciousness to its own power to vindicate and protect you. When you dwell in that awareness, God avenges not by battling others, but by quieting and subduing the restless thoughts that rise against you. The ‘enemies’ represent fears and conditions of mind; as your inner state agrees with divine presence, they lose their hold and you are delivered. You rise above conflict; your vibration lifts above struggle; you are carried to higher ground by the energy you identify with. The verse invites you to exalt the inner I AM until it becomes your visible reality: you are shielded, you prevail, and you move freely in divine direction. This is inner conquest—an alignment so complete that external events reflect your settled assurance rather than your turmoil.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare I AM as your rock of salvation, and feel yourself lifted above every opposing thought. Dwell in that sensation and let it feel real for several minutes.
