Read Psalms 18 in context

Scripture Focus

32It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
Psalms 18:32-33

Biblical Context

The psalm speaks of God as the source of strength and the guide who makes the path perfect. It expresses an inner condition rather than a distant external event.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the seeker, the verse is not commentary about a distant path, but an instruction in consciousness. God here is the I AM you awaken to, the self-aware life force that girds your loins with strength and renders your way flawless as you align with your true state. When you "make your way perfect," you are not bending external events, you are settling into a state of wholeness where every impulse moves with precision. The feet that are made like hinds' feet symbolize the nimbleness of a mind that leaps over obstacles in the inner terrain, not by force, but by a perception change. The high places are inner elevations of awareness—moments of realization that come from remaining still in the assumption that you are already the one God knows you to be. As you dwell in that I AM, the external world gracefully follows suit.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling: I am girded with strength by God. Revise any sense of weakness and feel the I AM lifting you to your high places.
