Leaping Walls Within

Psalms 18:29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 18 in context

Scripture Focus

29For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Psalms 18:29

Biblical Context

With divine aid, you move through opposition. Walls and barriers yield when your inner state aligns with the I AM.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the verse as a depiction of your inner state—the I AM, the awareness that you are God in expression. The troop described is not a real army but the traffic of anxious thoughts and fears marching through your mind. When you affirm by thee I have run through a troop, you consent to a new momentum: you, in consciousness, move through density with ease because density is only inner belief. By my God I have leaped over a wall means you do not negotiate walls with force, but with a revised sense of what is possible. Position yourself in the I AM now, and feel the vitality that carries you forward. The body may resist, but the inner awareness remains undefeated, and that steadfastness converts obstacles into mere scenery. As you persist in this inner state, the imagined crowd disperses and the barrier dissolves into light you walk through. This is not wishful thinking, but the recognition that imagination creates reality and you are the I AM within, alive and aware.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly in the I AM. Revise the scene in your mind as already accomplished: you have run through a troop and leaped over a wall; feel the victory now.
