Neville's Inner Vision

All that you perceive as obstacle is a state of consciousness you have accepted. When the Psalm says, 'thou wilt light my candle,' it is the I AM within you turning on the flame of awareness in the darkest corners of your mind. The 'afflicted' are merely thoughts of separation; the 'high looks' are prideful stories you tell about lack. In this inner scene, God within does the real work by transforming your state. You do not fight an external army; you shift your inner posture until fear dissolves and action becomes natural. By acknowledging that you are the light and that your strength comes from the God within, you move as if you had already crossed the troop and vaulted the wall. The scripture invites you to live from the end: you are the lamp, the guide, and the overcoming power, and the outer world follows the rhythm of that inner conviction. When you rest in that awareness, darkness yields, and you walk boldly through every barrier.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the I AM is waking within you; feel 'I am illuminated' as a present-tense certainty. Then imagine lighting a candle in your chest, and see yourself running through a troop and leaping over a wall, knowing God within goes before you.
