Breath Praises the LORD Within

Psalms 150:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 150 in context

Scripture Focus

6Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Psalms 150:6

Biblical Context

The verse declares that every breath should praise the LORD. The call is universal and perpetual, inviting all life to worship.

Neville's Inner Vision

All of creation is your inner state awakening to praise. When you say 'Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD,' you are not addressing an external deity far away; you are pointing to the I AM within, the awareness that makes you conscious. Praise is not an action out there but a vibration of gratitude, a returning to the awareness that you are forever attended by Presence. Your breath becomes the symbol and the instrument: with each inhale you invite the divine Presence; with each exhale you release resistance and align with the truth that you are watched by God from within. The universal call to praise becomes a personal revision of your current feeling state. If you feel separation, revise: 'I am in the Presence of the LORD now.' If doubt arises, feel the breath as a drumbeat of awe, a reminder that the LORD is the I AM that you are aware of. When you live from that inner posture, joy arises as the natural expression of your true identity, and all events reflect your receptivity to wonder.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and repeat in your mind, 'I am praising the LORD now,' while breathing slowly. Feel the breath as the seal of the I AM, and let the inner joy rise until it feels real.
