Biblical Context
Earth and all creatures are summoned to praise the LORD. Even the dragons of the deep join in the chorus.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, this verse is not a geographic command but a map of consciousness. The earth, dragons, and deeps are images of every state of mind within you—the dragon of fear, the depths of longing, the vast seas of unperceived potential. When you acknowledge those states and declare their praise, you are not appeasing some external deity but awakening your I AM, your present awareness, to harmony. The call to praise is the act of imagining your world as already exalted, already in order and in tune with creation. The earth is your outer life; the 'dragons' are the formidable fears you once believed ruled you; the deeps are the hidden wells of possibility you have not yet drawn from. By praising, you align these states with the divine order, letting imagination birth new relationships, conditions, and experiences. In Neville’s sense, creation follows your inner posture; the moment you imagine praise as real, the external shows the change you have assumed.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the feeling that you are the I AM, praising through you. Visualize all inner states—fears, longings, depths—lifting in harmony as if already praised.
