Read Psalms 148 in context

Scripture Focus

14He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
Psalms 148:14

Biblical Context

God lifts up the strength of His people and cherishes their praise. The verse says the children of Israel are near to Him, inviting all to praise the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the horn of His people is not a weapon but the crowned vitality of consciousness. The horn represents your innermost power—the stable, exalted state you assume in imagination. When you imagine the praise of all His saints, you are rehearsing the feeling-state of harmony with the divine Presence. The children of Israel being near unto Him is a statement about proximity of awareness: you are not separate from God, you are the I AM, the living awareness that supports every act. To exalt the horn of His people is to accept that your inner state has authority—that the loved, praised self is now the ruler of your experience. When you stand in that nearness, your prayer becomes a posture of gratitude and trust, and the outer world becomes a reflection of this inner reverence. The call to 'Praise ye the LORD' is the creative command to affirm the reality you intend to live, here and now.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the inner horn rising—feel your power and nearness to the I AM. Then speak softly: I am exalted, I am near to God, I am the praise that animates my life.
