Psalms 148:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 148 in context

Scripture Focus

11Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
Psalms 148:11-12

Biblical Context

Psalm 148:11-12 calls all strata of humanity to praise God; it imagines the whole world as an ordered chorus under divine authority.

Neville's Inner Vision

Kings of the earth are not external rulers but inner states of consciousness I permit to reign. When I align with the I AM, these inner kings and princes act with integrity, while the judges within me discern truth and belief, guiding my choices. Young men, maidens, old men, and children symbolize every facet of my being—emotion, intellect, instinct, and will—placed in harmony under one law. Psalm 148:11-12 becomes a declaration that the Kingdom of God is within. The chorus of praise I hear reflects inner alignment: gratitude for what is, trust in what I choose to become, and the realization that God is the awareness I am. If I sense separation or lack, I do not seek outer proofs; I revise the inner state to unity, knowing the inner ruler governs the outer world as surely as breath follows life. In this sense, kingship is the intuitive authority of the I AM realized through every line of my life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine all aspects of life—every age, every role—lifting a chorus to the I AM. Feel inner sovereignty settle as real as breath.
