Scripture Focus

6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
Psalms 146:6-7

Biblical Context

The psalm declares God as the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea, whose truth endures. It promises justice for the oppressed, food for the hungry, and liberation for the imprisoned.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, in the Neville manner, the entire verse is not about external happenings but about your inner state. Heaven, earth, and sea are the stages of your consciousness; God who 'made' them is the I AM that you are aware of in the present moment. Truth 'for ever' is the unchanging nature of that awareness. When you imagine the oppressed receiving justice, the hungry fed, or prisoners loosed, you are not petitioning a distant deity, you are revising your inner state. As you dwell in the feeling that the I AM is the author and sustainer of all right order, you awaken that order as your experience. The outer world becomes a reflection of your inner alignment; the sense of oppression dissolves into clarity, needs are met by the abundance within, and mental confinement yields to freedom as you accept your innate authority. The psalm invites you to keep faith with the true governor of your life—the I AM—by assuming the reality of justice and provision here and now.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the scene into your inner reality. Rehearse, 'I am free, I am fed, I am just,' until the feeling of it realigns your consciousness.
