Biblical Context
Psalm 145:9 proclaims that God is good to all and that His tender mercies cover all creation.
Neville's Inner Vision
I interpret the verse as an invitation to claim the I AM as the source of all kindness in my world. The 'LORD' is not a distant ruler but the consciousness I am aware of—the awareness that makes images rise and fall. When it is said that the LORD is good to all and His tender mercies over all His works, I hear that my inner state knows no exclusion. Mercy here is not sentiment but inward result: the moment I refuse limitation and consent to benevolent law, events reflect that mercy back to me. Everything I call real becomes a manifestation of a single, universal good, touching every person and thing as if through an invisible, tender hand. Providence and guidance are not external workings but the direction of my own imagination, aligning with what I permit in thought and feeling. As I dwell in this awareness, the sense of lack dissolves and cooperation, ease, and natural abundance surface in place of resistance.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and affirm: I AM goodness to all; feel the tender mercies of the I AM brushing every corner of your life. Revise any sense of lack by imagining this benevolent providence.
