Biblical Context

Psalm 145:14-15 promises that God upholds those who fall and lifts those bowed down; all look to God for nourishment in due season.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, in the inner language of the I AM, these lines declare the posture of consciousness, not a distant event. The LORD who upholds all that fall and raises all that are bowed down is the nature of your awareness itself—the I AM that never abandons its image. When you feel broken or bent by circumstance, you are simply clinging to a belief in lack; yet God as your awareness remains unmoved, lifting any state that appears bowed. The eyes of all wait upon thee are the attention of the whole psyche turned to its source, and thou givest them their meat in due season is the assurance that awareness furnishes the imagery, thought, and feeling that nourish life at the right moment. Providence is not a distant grant but the continual activity of your own imagination aligning with truth. To live this is to revise: I am upheld by the I AM; my needs are met by the inner attention of God. Practically, feel this lift until it colors your sense of time and momentum.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state I am upheld by the I AM; revise any lack by declaring my needs are met in due season, and feel the uplift as if nourished by inner light.
