Inner Protection from Snares

Psalms 141:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 141 in context

Scripture Focus

9Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
Psalms 141:9

Biblical Context

The verse asks to be kept from snares which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.

Neville's Inner Vision

Psalm 141:9 is not a cry for external protection but an invitation to awaken to a fixed state of consciousness. The 'snares' and 'gins' are inner traps—patterns of fear, accusation, and opposition that arise within mind. When I esteem the I AM, the awareness that I am, I see that danger is a projection of thought and not a power in itself. Providence and Guidance flow as a natural function of consciousness, available the moment I refuse to identify with the alarm and align with the unassailable Presence within. This is spiritual warfare won by revision, by choosing to stand in the stead of safety rather than waiting for protection from without. Deliverance comes as I rest in the certainty that I AM shields and guides me, dissolving snares as I rest in that inner truth.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of protection now: say 'I AM kept from every snare' and feel a luminous shield surround you, affirming divine guidance in the present.
