Escape the Inner Nets

Psalms 141:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 141 in context

Scripture Focus

10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
Psalms 141:10

Biblical Context

The verse speaks of the wicked falling into their own nets, while the speaker escapes, signaling that safety arises from inner awareness rather than external conditions.

Neville's Inner Vision

Psalm 141:10 speaks not of vengeance but of a state of consciousness. The 'wicked' are the restless thoughts and stubborn judgments that arise when you forget you are the I AM. They weave nets out of fear, anger, and separation, and by their own movement they trip themselves. The good news is that you do not need to chase or condemn; you simply shift your state. When you assume the awareness that you already stand in the kingdom of God, the nets lose their grip and the sense of escape becomes immediate. Your attention, not the world, is the creator. The I AM observes and remains untouched by the outer plot; the moment you dwell as that witness, you escape all snares. So you can say, 'I am the I AM; I am safe in this consciousness.' In that light, what seems to threaten dissolves into signposts pointing to your true nature.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and assume: 'I am the I AM'—the witness of all scenes. Imagine stepping out of a trap into radiant light, nets dissolving as you rest in awareness.
