Read Psalms 14 in context

Scripture Focus

1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
Psalms 14:1-2

Biblical Context

Psalm 14:1-2 contrasts a heart that denies God with the inner Lord who looks down to see who understands and seeks God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of God as the I AM within you—the living awareness that gives form to every thought and feeling. The fool who says there is no God is simply a state of consciousness that has forgotten its divine ground. When the LORD looks down, he is your inner sense of understanding and the choice to seek God within. He is testing whether there exists a perception that understands the truth and chooses to inquire within rather than project outward. Your world is an outward mirror of your inner states. To see anyone who understands and seeks God is to notice the quality of your attention: are you dwelling in separation or in presence? The remedy is a deliberate assumption: that the I AM is here, now, and governing your thoughts, feelings, and circumstances. By assuming the reality of God within, you revise the sense of lack, awaken trust, and align with wisdom and discernment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and rest your attention at the heart center, softly repeating 'I AM' until it becomes a felt reality; then revise any negating thought to 'I AM within me now' and let that truth govern your day.
