Think of the verse as a map of your inner state: God has possessed my reins and covered me in my mother's womb. The womb is not a physical space only, but the sanctuary of consciousness where the I AM dwells and fashions a life. The Bible speaks of possession; in Neville's terms, you are not created from nothing but awakened to a state that already exists in God. Your present conditions are the outward sign of an inner assumption. If you would know power, assume that the divine I AM is the only reality within you and that this awareness has always surrounded you, even before birth. Repeat and feel it until it becomes your sense of self: I am possessed by the divine I AM; I am held in the womb of divine care. When you entertain this belief with steady feeling, the outer world rearranges to mirror the inner certainty, for imagination alone creates reality and your life is the manifestation of that inner script.
