Scripture Focus

8The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Psalms 138:8

Biblical Context

Psalm 138:8 promises God will perfect what concerns me; His mercy endures forever, and He will not forsake the works of His hands.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the I AM world within you, the LORD becomes your present awareness that never leaves. The phrase 'that which concerneth me' is a movement in your own consciousness—an idea, a worry, a longing—now within the light of your attention. The mercy that endures is not distant; it is the steady love of awareness you can feel in imagination as you assume the end. Do not search outward for change; attend to the inner instrument that fashions experience: your thoughts, images, and beliefs. The works of His hands are the settled forms of your life, and God will not forsake them because they arise from the I AM within you. Therefore dwell as the already-complete self in the inner realm, and revise any sense of lack by declaring, 'I am whole in the I AM; this concern is perfected in this moment.' In that alignment, the outer world gradually reflects the inner throne.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: close your eyes, assume the end of perfection now, and feel the certainty in your chest; repeat, 'I am perfected by the I AM; my concerns are being perfected this moment.'
