Psalms 138:7

Biblical Context

In the midst of trouble, God revives me and saves me from my enemies.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this verse, outer trouble mirrors inner disturbance. I am not driven by it; I am the consciousness that revives itself when I acknowledge the I AM. Revival here is a shift of state, a return to wholeness, not a change of circumstance. When I feel assailed by enemies fear doubt loneliness I imagine the divine hand stretching toward me in my inner sky, sweeping away resistance and re-centering my attention. The right hand that saves is the steady, all power of awareness that never abandons me. By dwelling as the I AM, I revise the scene with feeling and certainty until the sense of threat dissolves and healing flows. The promise is not protection from the world, but a transformation within that makes triumph possible wherever I go. Thus I awaken to the truth that God is within, the source and rescuer of every moment, and my life becomes the living act of salvation.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, place your hand on your heart, and declare I AM revived. Stay with that feeling until fear dissolves and the saving presence within becomes tangible.
