Biblical Context
Psalm 138:5 affirms that those who live in the LORD's ways will sing, because the glory of the LORD is manifested in their inner life.
Neville's Inner Vision
To hear 'in the ways of the LORD' is not about external paths but about your inner disposition. The psalmist tells you that those who live in harmony with the divine order, within, will sing. The 'great is the glory of the LORD' is not a distant temple but the undeniable reality of your awareness—the I AM—glorified in your very breath, in your decisions, in your feeling of being led. The act of singing is the inner reverberation of unity between your consciousness and the law that governs all things. When you suspend doubt and assume the state of one who walks in the LORD, you evoke in your imagination that the divine glory is already present here and now. The LORD's glory is not earned; it is revealed as your own nature when you align with it. You are the singer, the song, and the audience; the inner notes rise as you accept that you are not separate from divine order but an expression of it.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and imagine you are already walking in the LORD's ways; feel the inner glory as real now, then repeat 'I am the I AM, I live in the divine order' until it permeates every thought.
