Within the experience of the psalmist, the temple is not a building but the state of consciousness I enter by intention. I worship toward thy holy temple by turning my attention to the I AM within, the constant witness who never falters. When I praise thy name for lovingkindness and truth, I am praising the reliable impulses of my inner life—the mercy I feel and the fidelity of perception that aligns with reality. The striking clause 'for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name' teaches me that the Word inside me—my imagination, belief, and spoken decree—has supremacy over every outward label. God, the I AM, does not bow to names; it elevates the Word, the living idea I hold in mind, above external appearances. Therefore true worship is an inner aligning, a feeling of reality so vivid that it reshapes perception. As I dwell in that awareness, the world answers from within, and what I call forth becomes my experience.
