Psalms 138:1-3

Biblical Context

The psalmist vows wholehearted praise and worship toward God, acknowledging divine lovingkindness and truth. He recalls that God answered him and strengthened his soul.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the I AM inside, Psalms 138:1–3 becomes a map of inner acknowledgment. The speaker's vow to praise with the whole heart, before the inner councils, is really a decision to align the self with the divine Presence that you already are. Worship toward the temple is attention directed to your own perceiving I AM, not toward external temples. When you praise the lovingkindness and truth, you cherish the inner promises you have already imagined as true, and you place the word of your inner vision above the labels of any circumstance. The line that God has magnified His word above all His name tells you that your imagined word—your practiced assumption of wellbeing—stands supreme in your consciousness, greater than any appearance. And the moment you cried, the I AM answers; you feel the wearing of struggle melt, and strength comes into your soul. This is not luck; it is the natural law of consciousness responding to deliberate inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state 'I AM answered now.' Feel the strength flowing into your soul and praise as if your desire is already yours.
