To the inner seeker, the psalm speaks of a land not on any map but within your own mind. 'And gave their land for an heritage' becomes the truth that your state of consciousness is the land blessed to you by mercy, and that mercy endures forever. In this light, the 'Israelite servant' is your I AM—the awakened you who serves the one Mind. The refrain 'for his mercy endureth for ever' is the continuous assurance of love that never fails; it guarantees the soil of awareness remains fertile regardless of outer appearances. When you accept that inheritance as your present condition, you realize every experience arises from the inner arrangement of your mind, not from chance. The inheritance is thus a realized covenant: you live on land fashioned by mercy, held steady by the constancy of divine compassion. Do not seek external signs; stand in the awareness that life answers you from your own I AM as you dwell in this truth, and you will find your outer world reflecting your inner unity with the Infinite.
