Biblical Context

Psalm 136:13-15 recalls God dividing the Red Sea and delivering Israel, sustained by mercy forever. It invites you to see mercy as the power that makes the impossible possible.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the Red Sea as the boundary your present sense of self has drawn around your desire. The dividing of the sea by mercy is your inner decision that you will not be bound by it any longer. Israel passing through the midst of it represents your consciousness moving through the limitation with ease. The overthrow of Pharaoh and his host is the collapse of the old mentality when mercy—your true nature—remains unaltered. Because mercy endures forever, your new assumption, felt as real now, cannot fail. You are the I AM; imagination creates the event; a single, sincere feeling of 'it is so' parts the sea in your favor. Practice daily communion with this inner act, and you will witness the outer scene align with your inner decree.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: 'I am the I AM that parts the Red Sea.' Feel the waters parting as if your desire is already upon you; step through in confidence. Repeat this revision and feeling-it-real for several minutes, daily.
