Psalms 134:1-2

Biblical Context

The psalm calls the LORD's servants who stand by night in the house of the LORD to bless the LORD, lifting their hands in the sanctuary.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this psalm, the 'servants of the LORD' are the states of consciousness you cultivate; they serve the divine within. The 'house of the LORD' is the sanctuary of your mind. To stand by night is the discipline of attention when the outer world grows quiet. Lifting up your hands is an act of surrender and blessing; to bless the LORD is to bless the I AM that you awaken as awareness. When you assume this blessing, you are not petitioning a distant God but recognizing the one who is always awake inside you. The blessing becomes a reconditioning of your state: you inhabit the presence of God as your own awareness, and life flows from that alignment. The night watch is the awakened I AM ready to bless, turning longing into gratitude, lack into fullness, and fear into faith. Practice by assuming you already stand in the sanctuary, blessing the LORD within, and feel it real in your chest as you drift toward sleep or wakefulness.

Practice This Now

Tonight, sit comfortably, close your eyes, declare 'I bless the LORD within me.' Imagine yourself standing in the inner sanctuary with hands lifted, blessing the I AM.
