Finding the Inner Ark

Psalms 132:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 132 in context

Scripture Focus

6Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
7We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
Psalms 132:6-7

Biblical Context

It describes hearing of the Ark and finding it within the fields of life. It then urges entry into God's tabernacle to worship.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within these verses the Ark is not a distant chest but your own state of consciousness—the I AM you are. Hearing of it at Ephratah, you recall a Presence that has always been and in the 'fields of the wood' you discover that it was never outside you but within your imagination. To 'go into his tabernacles' and 'worship at his footstool' means you step into the inner sanctuary where attention concentrates and allows the Presence to stand before you as I AM. Your faith and trust are not in place or time, but in the realization that the kingdom of God is within your own consciousness. When you feel the Ark as your present awareness, you align with the I AM and the worship becomes a state of being rather than an external ritual. You are choosing to dwell in the Presence now, and every movement of reverence and gratitude tightens the bond between your I AM and the divine reality you already possess.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the Ark within you. Assume you are already in the tabernacle, worshipping at the footstool of your I AM; feel the Presence now.
