Biblical Context
Psalm 132:13-14 speaks of God choosing Zion as His habitation and declares Zion as a rest forever where He dwells. It points to an inner, fixed state of divine presence rather than a geographical place.
Neville's Inner Vision
When I say Zion, I mean a state of consciousness you can enter now. The Lord has chosen Zion, not as a map, but as your decided inner habitation—your practiced, steady point of awareness. To dwell there is to rest in the mind that God is present, and this rest is everlasting because it is a choice of the I AM, not a circumstance you must earn. This is my rest forever; here I will dwell, expresses the self-sent longing of your true I AM to inhabit that state. The Presence of God is thus an inner visitation, a daily fidelity to holiness and separation: keep thoughts aligned with the kept word, refuse the pull of doubt, and feel the sacred ease of being already where you desire to be. Covenant loyalty becomes an inner vow: I am always dwelling in this sanctuary of awareness, and the I AM desires it as much as I do, making it real in my life as unity, peace, and creative reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I AM dwelling in Zion within me now.' Assume Zion as your fixed state of consciousness, feel the rest and the Presence, and carry that sense of dwelling with you as you go about your day.
