Psalms 128:4-6

Biblical Context

The psalm promises blessing for those who fear the LORD. It speaks of blessings flowing from Zion, seeing the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life, and peace for one's descendants.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this Psalm, blessing is not a distant event but a state of consciousness cultivated by reverent awareness of the I AM within. The ‘fear of the LORD’ is the alignment of your mind with the creative spirit, a humble acknowledgement that you are always in the presence of the inner Zion—the source from which good flows. When you conceive life from this inner center, you begin to see the good of Jerusalem—your desired conditions—operating in your life 'all the days of thy life' because you have learned to dwell in the feeling of the blessing now. The blessing extends beyond personal ease to your lineage: children and children’s children refer to the durable effects of an inner state that can be imagined into expression, bringing peace upon Israel—peace within your home and mind. Imagination, not circumstance, writes the story; you are the author of your world, and blessing is the natural ripple of living as the I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and assume, 'I AM blessed now,' feeling the blessing as a present reality flowing from your inner Zion. Let that feeling dwell and observe how your outer conditions begin to harmonize.
