Read Psalms 126 in context

Scripture Focus

3The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
Psalms 126:3

Biblical Context

The verse states that God has done great things for us and that we are glad.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the psalm you hear the whisper of the I AM that you really are. The great things spoken of are not distant events but shifts of your own inner climate. When you acknowledge that God has done them for you, you are naming the inside alignment by which your life becomes a petition answered. Gratitude here is not a reaction to outward favors, but an inner state of consciousness you assume. By imagining that the Lord has already acted on your behalf, you awaken a new sense of exaltation; you exhale old limitations and breathe in the finished results of your inner work. The 'us' is your collective self, the I AM that includes every aspect of your being; when you say you are glad, you are confirming harmony with the divine movement within. Practice is to feel it real now; to revise any sense of lack by repeating I AM statements and allowing joy to inhabit you. In this light, salvation, grace, and favor are not conditions to be sought but states you inhabit by conscious belief and feeling.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of gratitude as if the great things have already occurred; hold that state for a minute or two and let it color the day.
