On Our Side, The LORD

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse states that safety and victory come from the LORD's presence beside us. Without that presence, Israel would not be able to claim any victory.
Neville's Inner Vision
To speak of the LORD on our side is to name a state of consciousness you are called to inhabit, not a distant ally you must seek. The LORD is the I AM within you, your constant defense, your inner sanctuary, your unseen victory. When fear rises, realize you have merely forgotten the power you already are. Israel, the inner kingdom, proclaims safety in the only arena that matters—your awareness. The verse is not a historical banner but a law of feeling: when you affirm that the LORD is right where you are, you alter the perception of the scene and dissolve what seems like danger. By this proclamation you invite a shift in mental weather, turning obstacles into steps and threats into demonstrations of protection. Sit with the assurance long enough and the outer world must echo the inner assurance. The work is simple: cultivate the sense that the I AM is present as you, here and now; let that reality do the work you once prayed for, until you see the external yield to your inner conviction.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and repeat 'The LORD is on my side now' until you feel the I AM surrounding you like a shield; then carry that certainty into the next moment, revising any fear as an illusion of the old state.
