Inner Understanding Psalm 119:73-80
Psalms 119:73-80 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 119 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalmist acknowledges God as the craftsman who formed him, seeks understanding to learn the commandments, and trusts divine judgments while longing for mercy, delight in the law, and a steadfast heart.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your hands were not mere matter; they are the creative act of awareness shaped by I AM. When I say give me understanding, I do not beg from afar but align with the fact that understanding is my natural function of consciousness. I assume the state of knowing thy commandments, and in that assumption the commandments rise as living laws within me. Those who fear the light will be glad to see that I am the embodiment of right thinking, because I have hoped in thy word inside my own soul. I know thy judgments are right, and that any apparent affliction is a necessary purification within my inner law. Let mercy be for my comfort; let tender mercies come to me that I may live, for the law is my delight. I will meditate in thy precepts until my heart stands sound in thy statutes, unashamed. The inner world responds to the quiet, unwavering faith I hold, and those who fear thee turn toward me as I remain aligned with thy testimonies within the mind.
Practice This Now
Sit in stillness and assume the I AM within you as the creator and upholder of your life. Say, I now understand thy commandments and feel the understanding rise as real in my chest.
