The Inner Strength of I AM
Psalms 118:14-17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Lord is my strength, song, and salvation. The righteous dwell in joy and victorious power, ready to declare the works of the Lord.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here the LORD is not a distant person but the I AM within your consciousness. The verses speak of strength, song, and salvation as the natural moving of life when you acknowledge this inner power. The right hand of the LORD is the dynamic faculty of your will and imagination acting on your behalf, doeth valiantly in your experience. The tabernacles of the righteous are the inner dwelling places you inhabit when you choose faith over fear. By assuming and feeling that you cannot die but live, you align with the life-principle that underwrites every moment. Each surge of joy or renewed energy is the inner voice of salvation responding to your recognition. Your task is to revise any sense of limitation by declaring I am and then act from that state, letting perception bend to the truth of being. In this way the outer world reflects your inward declaration—strength becomes expression, salvation becomes living awareness, and the works of the Lord are seen through you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the I AM as your life now; close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and softly repeat I am strength and salvation while feeling the assurance as real in this moment.
