Neville's Inner Vision
All around me are states of fear and limitation, the mind encircling itself with images of threat. In Neville's light, the phrase all nations compassed me about reveals the perpetual circle of thoughts pressing in. But the cry, in the name of the LORD, is not pleading for conquest of external foes; it is the assertion of the I AM, the living awareness that stands behind every scene. When I say I will destroy them, I am reaffirming that these imagined forms dissolve when I identify with the living presence I am. The circle loses its grip as I refuse to acknowledge it as real and instead acknowledge the one Life within. By dwelling in the LORD as my own consciousness, I convert the sense of encirclement into a demonstration of inner sovereignty. The practice is not combat but revision: replace fear with divine remembrance, and the feeling of being surrounded collapses into clarity, peace, and a secured sense of victory. Thus salvation appears as an inner triumph of belief, transforming the mind before any outer sign follows.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare I AM as your constant reality. Visualize the encircling thoughts dissolving into light and feel the victory as already accomplished within.
