Psalms 115:9-18

Biblical Context

Psalm 115:9-18 invites all who fear the LORD to trust in Him as their help and shield, promising mindful blessing and increasing prosperity for them and their families, while encouraging continual praise of the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

This psalm teaches that trust is not a human emotion but a state of consciousness. The LORD you are urged to trust is the I AM—the awareness in which all blessing arises. When you affirm that the Mind has been mindful of you, you align your inner weather with blessing: protection (a shield) and increase that comes to you and your children. The line that the earth is given to the children of men is an inner decree: the outer world answers to your inner state. As you dwell in the feeling of being cared for by the same infinite Mind that made heaven and earth, you stop seeking from without and begin receiving from within. Those who fear the LORD—reverence for this truth—find the same favor, large and small; your inner life expands until you live in continual blessing. The dead do not praise the LORD; you do by blessing Him now, choosing abundance over lack and claiming the present reality of your consciousness, here and now.

Sit quietly and assume you are blessed here and now. Feel the I AM as a shield around you and envision an inner increase flowing to you and your family.
