Trusting the Inner LORD Shield
Psalms 115:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Those who fear the LORD are invited to trust the LORD, for He is their help and their shield. This trust is an inner stance, not mere outward sentiment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Fear of the LORD, in this reading, is not a trembling before a distant ruler but a reverent recognition of the I AM within. To trust the LORD is to align your entire awareness with the fact that the I AM is your essence, here and now. When you adopt this inner posture, you stop projecting danger outward and begin feeling the LORD’s assistance and shield as already established in you. Your mind, once scattered by worry, gathers around a single truth: I am cared for by the Presence that I am. The I AM within acts as both helper and shield because it is the source and boundary of all you experience. Thus the verse becomes a practical instruction: assume trust as your present state; revise any fear by declaring, “In the I AM I trust, and thus I am shielded.” Circumstances then rearrange to reflect that inward confirmation, and what seems external becomes the outward sign of your inner fidelity.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling, 'I trust the LORD within me; the I AM is my shield.' Feel the inner support saturating your mind as truth.
