Princes of Your Mind: Inner Royalty
Psalms 113:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 113 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It says God will set him with princes, placing him in the circle of the faithful. The verse signifies an inner elevation, a royal inclusion in the divine order.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your true self is not a beggar at the gates of life, but the I AM in whose presence princes are assembled. When you read 113:8, hear the inner decree: you are already among the princes of God, because the kingdom is a state of consciousness you assume. The word 'set' is not a future event; it is a present act of your imagination, a reinvestment of your awareness with authority. The I AM is the king that claims your name and aligns your feeling with the royal company. To 'be among the princes' is to recognize that your consciousness governs the appearances of your world. The faithful are simply states of awareness within you; when you dwell in the royal order, your daily circumstances reflect that dignity. Practice is memory of your true position: you are beloved, you are authorized, you are present in the divine council. The external world becomes the echo of your interior decree, and you walk as one who belongs to the royal circle now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare 'I am among the princes of my people,' and feel the presence of God within as my I AM. Hold this royal state for a minute, then proceed from that realized position.
