Psalm 112:7 speaks of a heart that stands unmoved by evil tidings because it is fixed in the awareness of the LORD. You are not waiting for courage to come from outside; you are the inner state that cannot be unsettled. The 'evil tidings' are only waves in the outer theater, while the inner you—your I AM—remains the immutable observer. When you assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled—that you already stand in the presence of God—you are no longer at the mercy of news; you are the news-maker. The heart that trusts is not seeking to be fearless; it knows itself as fearless by identifying with the LORD within. Imagination creates the scene; you reenact the I AM as the ruler of your inner weather. Do not abandon your inner desert; instead fix attention on the governing presence, and you will be unshaken when reports come. So, live from the end, not toward it; let your inner LORD seed the outcome and reality follows.
