Lending Kindness, Eternal Remembrance

Psalms 112:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 112 in context

Scripture Focus

5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
Psalms 112:5-6

Biblical Context

The verses describe a generous, prudent person whose favor is shown and whose lending is guided by discretion; such a righteous person remains secure and is remembered eternally. This is a portrait of steady character and enduring honor.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the good man is a state of consciousness that gives and guides with discernment. 'Shweth favour' becomes the inner attitude of abundance toward life; 'lendeth' is the spiritual act of releasing possession in your mind, trusting the One Mind to supply. The line 'he will guide his affairs with discretion' invites you to listen to the still, small I AM within, acting not from fear but from perfect trust. If you persist in this state, you shall not be moved; internal security becomes permanent as your inner memory confirms the truth of your vision. The righteous are in everlasting remembrance—your inner awareness remembers you as one who acts from wholeness. When you dwell here, the outer world reflects this inner steadiness: you become a conduit of generosity and wisdom, and life marks you as that living alignment.

Practice This Now

Assume the state now: I am the I AM that lends with discernment and guides my affairs from inner wealth. Feel that reality until it is your immediate experience.
